Nice job :3 luv the gags X3RickMontana wrote:Awwwwwwww... I am doing my finals and my life depend on it so I will not be able to join in on this theme but I *love* drawing Disney characters, especially the ones below!!! At least I did a quick sketch which took about an hour and is all smudgy. Had it been June instead of May, I would have done a thorough job, probably in full color. But I guess this will have to do. Maybe I redraw the scene at a later time with some more work put to it.
If you have never drawn Disney characters you might not know that each rely on a very different style. Especially the faces and eyes are totally different from one another. Ariel's face is drawn with two separate circles causing her to have puffy cheeks, a pouting forehead and a distinct nose. Her eyelashes are usually drawn into the same direction unlike other Disney characters which eyelashes go from the nose out. I usually draw her with her 'above land' look, meaning she wear a blue skirt with a black corset, a blue ribbon and her red hair is not as 'wild and wavy' as she is drawn under water. Belle is based on French comics and her eyes are primarily drawn with two lines. She is also much more humanoid, making her much taller than other characters of the time. When Aladdin was developed the artists took inspiration from Arabic letters, so most of them are drawn with bold wavy lines. Jasmine have very catlike eyes shaped like almonds and her cheekbones are the furthest you can go from Ariel. She is also probably the slimmest Disney princess.
I'm a fan of damsels and gagged girls.....I'm a girl myself....and I'm happy!!! XD

Here is my contribution for this month's theme. Sort of went with a Kingdom Hearts approach, with Tiana being captured by Voodoo Doll Heartless.
