Just so that you know, since 2018 there have been four more seasons of this. I skimmed through all the episodes and... WOW. Even though my hopes weren't high to begin with due to the mecha nature of the show (= the characters fight in robots all the time = the chance of them getting tied properly diminishes severely), this is one of the most bindingless shows I've ever seen, especially considering how it spans for SIXTY-FIVE episodes.

The most frustrating thing is that the shows introduces other female cute-as-fuck characters after season 2 and the English dub gives them sexy, gravely voices... yet no one gets a treatment. Emily gets a cuter redesign in season 4 but she only ends up caged.

While I can't admit for all works, I know one example is The Super Mario Bros. Movie which didn't have Peach as the damsel with Luigi taking this position.

As I mentioned in a reply in Niko and The Sword Of Light, there's a difference between a mainstream work vs. a bondage focused work. An example of a game with a lot of treatments is the game Didnapper 2 but it shouldn't be surprising since the game was developed with tie up scenes in mind. A mainstream work likely won't focus on DiD or bondage as much as anything from a DiD creator even if they can include some tied up characters once in a while.

Mainstream entertainment media isn't marketed to DiD fetishits, true. And frankly I'm the kins of guy for which even ONE scene in a whole series, as long as it's good, is more than enough. But I wouldn't blame it on the target audience, it's just that the genre is notoriously a deathbed for good DiD scenes most of the time.

I thought the girls in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous were cute. And when some bad guys showed up and captured Brooklynn when she was trying to hide from them, I was excited - but they simply watched her very closely and didn't ever tie her or physically restrain her. Boo! Loved the cartoon but wished they'd decided she was worth restraining.

I've likewise seen bad guys grab other characters, like Yasmina, but the characters always escape or just get locked up or something. Disappointing, but realistically, what would someone do in real life in that situation?

By "bindings" I meant handcuffs too. I honestly don't like very much when the girl is just put in a cell or held by hands. But still, personal taste.
As for Dinocore, it's just the female characters end up in distress very, very rarely to begin with.
