Megan Fox to Play April O'Neil in Bay's TMNT

Despite a very public falling out which led to Megan Fox being replaced in the third installment of Michael Bay's Transformers franchise, the director has just revealed via his official website that they will re-team for the Jonathan Liebesman helmed Ninja Turtles. She'll play April O'Neil and beat Jane Levy, Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Olsen to the role.

I wouldn't change my style of movie making either if this is what it netted. But like many things it will eventually wear thin. No idea if this will be the movie people call it quits on. I'm honestly numb to the whole ordeal. If I wanna watch TMNT, I'll watch Nickelodeon.

the problem with the bay movie is its like the Dancing Powder from one piece series. the seemingly mystic powder causes extensive rainfall to happen for the shrot term. However, later on it causes extreme drought.
same here, the bay movies give out a huge amount of money at once but never for the long run. to this day there are people willing to buy the older versions of star wars, and to this day the star wars series continues to provide more enertainment, and perhaps vriation of it. say what you will of the prequels, but there have been actualyl very good games from star wars, and very good variation of stories from star wars as well, as it evolved past the big screen because of how popular and loved ti is.
twenty years from now, no one will remember tha micheal bay made the transformers movie, and if they remember the teenage mutant ninja turtles movie here, it will be because a legion of people dressed in teenaged mutant ninja turtle garb lynched him because of it.

and why megan fox as april oniel? she isn't even that attractive to be honest with ya. let aloen a god damn red head. the april oneil from the original ninja turtles movie was a better pick. not as attractive, relatively, but with an actual personality.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean there isn't merit in the things he does. He's a college frat boy with a multimillion dollar playground to do things in. He knows it, everyone else knows it, he's not trying to make masterpieces here. His aim was always to make enjoyable popcorn movies, nothing more. He's also an efficient director in getting the most out of his budgets. He typically comes in at or under budget, not over, like a lot of other notable directors out there. It's one of the reasons the studios keep hiring him.

You say that his movies aren't earning enough money, *right* after Suicide posts the numbers there above you. Really? You're literally ignoring reality. Eastman is working *with* him on Turtles, so you can't point out any changes as being wrong because he has the damn creator right there approving them. Sure, you don't have to like what he does with franchises, but you're just sticking your fingers in your ears to ignore reality about it.

you may be the first one to defend artistic right, suichiro, but you are not understanding one thing. Bay is not an artist. He is a con artist who makes movies designed to take advantage of the fact the majority of people want to see violence and vulgarity without any amount of thought or even respect to the source material. Eastman, in reality, is not helping Bay make the movie, he just has his name in there in order to trick fans of the series into sitting down and watching it. It is the same trick pulled when the got the original voice of Optimus Prime was put in. While it sounded like optimus, it was not optimus in the end.
The Bay movies really do Not make much money if you think about it. The movies are heavily watched, hyped up, and drain the money from the pockets of drooling masses..... Then fade into mediocrity and barely make any more than that. Now look at the star wars series. The original movies continue to make moeny one way or another, the prequels also albeit they are heavily flawed, but what Lucas did was less than just make a series of movie. He created an entire Galaxy for people to enjoy, a galaxy full of so much potential for story, and thus more money than Bay will ever see.
Now if he was simply making his own movies, then i would have less to complain about. But this is a man who couldn't give two fucks and a piss stain about the license he is working on. He does not like nor care about either the turtles nor the ancient races of cybertron. While i do defend the first transformers movie myself, as i see it was quite true to the transformers in many a way, though ignoring that witwicky asshole most of the time, i then learned that the only reason Why it felt that way was becuase Bay did not have the communistic control of the script he did in the next movies........ The faggot, and i do apologize to real homosexuals for that word, put a pair of Testicles on a transformers...... Worse yet, the combiner transformer's parts only had ONE vehicle that had a wrecking ball on it. It is beyond tasteless, beyond a simple continuity error. It is that pair of ballz that show what michael bay really is.
The embodiment of the idiotic masses who would rather watch a mindless beat em up without even the semblance of plot of even creativity over something of actual quality.

i am not asking for a god damn lord of the rings, hobbit (i defend the hobbit, albeit i know not all people will like it), star wars, or even kungfu panda. but i want something that is actually good, not jsut a mindless mishmash that a Bay movie brings forth. The man does not care about the fact he is making a turtles movie, nor will he listen to Eastman even if the man holds him at gunpoint. What we will get, will not be something the respects its source material, and will ultimately fade away from the public consciousness in do time.

making money does not mean success. leaving a god damn impact is what success is. and in the end is the more financially sound option. example, star wars.

i wonder what numbers star wars has ultimately netted by its combined revenue of the original films. the admitably flawed prequels, and the various other forms of media that a quality work as Star Wars can actually bring in. it is probably a far larger that the combined amount bay will rake in by the time his burns out and is found dead of a drug overdose.

i willdefend the first transformers movie. mainly because Bay did not have the nazi extreme levels of control of the script. we see what happens when he does.
