Detective Comics #1031

Post by laura silverman »

Hush captures the entire Batfam and holds a gun to a knocked-out and tied up Babs' head to get Nightwing to do his bidding. Loving the ropework here! :)

Interesting to see Cass in a bind there, and a little bit of Batwoman. I didn't see Stephanie though, maybe I missed her? Or did Hush not get Spoiler?

Yeah, Spoiler was a no-show. Have no idea what Cass is up to.

Lame on Steph not being there, missing out making the Bat-Fam down one. Cass was in the final page there, bound up closest to the "camera" if you will. Curious they reverted to using her OG Batgirl costume again though, the one her character first debuted in back in 1999. Blast from the past.

I looked through the other 3-4 issues that followed the one you linked above, weird there's no follow up scene yet with most of the Batfam caught. Hopefully we see them again soon.

Ha! I meant to say Steph! And yeah, I think the plan at DC is for Steph and Cass to resume the mantle of Batgirl along with Babs who is going to be part-time Batgirl/part-time Oracle.

Ah whoops. And gotcha.

Here's to hoping we get a nice followup scene on this one tho, it was a pretty good one.

Thank you Laura! At least I’m not alone in this one!

Any gags involved? I'm guessing not

EDIT: Nevermind I found the issue myself

Disappointing scene IMO, and kinda strange given the abilities of a lot of those characters depicted there simply strapped to tables. But the art style is really good (again IMO), and it fits pretty well within the whole plot going on there. Still thanks for the alerts.
