Anit-Alert Korra episode 1x07

Post by Suicide »

A load of full treatments, all of them dudes. NO CLOSE SHOT of Korra and Captain Bei Fong who are likely full treatment'd before they are instantly rescued...
NNNNNNNNNNNFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

I'm actually starting to think they're messing with us...

Mmm, actually I think they only put the gags on right before loading them up in the van, so I doubt Lin and Korra were gagged before Buzz Killington and Captain Bringdown... er, Mako and Bolin, got there.

Yeah watching it again it looks like they hadn't gotten to Korra and Lin by the time the rescue came. Even more lame! X_X
Hope this show delivers some DiD goodies soon.

damn. still was an action pact episode, without a doubt.

they method, to protect from spoilers, used is quite dangeorus, but forseen hard to fight agianst........ however i know for a fact that if a bender went compeltely serious, those things would be nothing more than deathtraps. so far, no one has really bended at full gas. obviouslly because they want to avoid damage to the city. imagines method being thrown high into the air by earthbending, smiles evilly.

and now i know the equalist weakness. they totally and utterly rely on cheapshoting benders. if the benders can turn their cheapshots against them, then they can prevail.

Well the thing about that situation and every situation the Equalists have battled on they have made sure they have an advantage. Much to their name sake every plan of attack they've done so far has put them on equal ground with Benders. The trap this week was specific to trap Tenzin Korra and Lin. I doubt they'll take their new weapons on an unplanned rampage where a Bender can do any real damage to them. It really makes them come across as real threats.

Love this show. It just needs to stop teasing the DiD potential. XD

it makes them bitchin enemies, that is for sure. however it also means they would be helpless if someone outsmarted them. if they had water benders, the method they used would have been useless. ice would freeze into the joints and break them apart, the water shorting out the eletricity.
as i said, they have to be at a total advantage, and they also seem aware that they cannot make universally effective methods. but the problem is that the benders will adapt to these methods. its obvious to me that the eletricity gauntlets would be entirely useless against a fire bender who knows the redirection technique. hell, the firebeader could use it to entirely drain the battery of the gauntlet and redirect straight into the attacker's body.
actualyl firebenders might be the msot difficult for the equalists to defeat unless they use a trap. the method they used might be effective against metalbenders, but firebender lightning would be easily conducted and ultimately kill the pilots...... i think that is unfortunately needed. a bender with homicidal intent on the equalists. either way, i think the avatar is ultimately the only pereson who can counter anything the equalists use. if only she knew what was coming before hand.

One thing I noticed is that some of the officers, like the one Bolin and Mako tied up, were definitely sporting tape gags. Something for the fan artists to keep in mind, at least.

We know from experience that DiMartino and Konietzko like teasing fans. They deliberately did in episode 1, so I wouldn't put it above them.
