Seems they got the brothers' reactions pretty accurate though.

With Mike being the most liberal with the tears, Leonardo being too shocked to really process it, and Raph looking like he's ready to jam his sais through Beebop and Rocksteady's throats.

Has me wishing I bought the book. The cover caught my eye and I passed by three times thinking I should by but shock value I see the book split in my hands. Next trip if can get buying and the next cause if he lived through this, have to.find out how.

I doubt they would KILL off Donnie completely. It wouldn't be the TMNT without him. And if the "Same As It Never Was" story arch has taught us anything, the turtles quickly fall apart and separate if Donnie dies. Plus even if Donnie did die this time, I wouldn't consider it Canon. Some of the turtles have died before in other universe's before. He's probably been beaten nearly to death, and knowing Donnie, might come back with some cybernetics or something. But only time will tell on what the writers decide to do.

he's a live, either he'll be in a 3 issue coma, if he is dead then they'll find some ancient magical ninja resurrection spell, or find another one in an alternative universe where he's still alive then bring him back to their universe, or use some magical artifact like the Daimo's staff or the spear of longinus, or time travel or clone, or robot, etc.... it's comic books, they do this shit all the time so I'm never shocked when they kill someone off including a major character like Donnie as they are usually back after a few issues and sometimes with no fucking explanation and expect the fans to accept it which half we fucking do.

I predict at least 3 or 6 issues where they do something to bring him back if he's really dead, 3 to 4 issues if he's just in some hibernating coma like the god of DC when he died.
