Artemis and Zatanna are captured by a magic user named Harm. He KO's them both and Artemis awakes bound to a chair with tons of rope. Harm directs her attention to a TV screen where Zatanna is tied up the same way and tape gagged to keep her from using her magic!

Fabulous scene. Lots of great shots of Zatanna gagged and a few muffles of her trying to cast a spell to no effect. I shall clip and post this one ASAP.

Some of the best scenes out there aren't much longer than this. I really find this to be a super quality scene.

Awesome scene, was hoping for something like this as soon as I read the initial episode summary.

Also, this makes I think three gagged scenes for Lacey Chabert-voiced characters? Eliza Thornberry, Gwen Stacy, and now Zatanna? Definitely one of the highest ratios of gag scenes to characters voiced of any voice actress out there.

at least we start to see some animated versions of Zatanna gagged (here, and in Batman the B&B), let us hope Black Canary will join this group (after the scene from Batman the B&B)

It's not a bad ratio at all. But Grey DeLisle has the market on quality DiD scenes I'd say. Still you're right Lacey keeps getting the treatment!

True, though Grey has voiced so many female characters that it's inevitable she'd be voicing a gagged character every now and then. Lacey has like 10% of Grey's body of work and probably 33% as many gag scenes.

Its still a mystery of life to me how they do those voices... do they place their hand on their mouth?? do they gag themselves for a more real sound??

Most likely they just close their mouths and talk from the back of their throat, that produces a pretty realistic gagged sound.
