Guess that would make this the best one. Who else got tied up?
The kidnapped girl from earlier?

Yeah I saw the scene it’s good. Based on how the episodes went there may be a good chance Nisha might get a treatment potentially given this series actually is focusing on DID for once. October 30th we’ll know for sure and if not then maybe season 2 will have more. But at least the 30th will have 4 episodes this time.
Re: Avatar: The Seven Havens, Season 1 Episode 4
In the scene with the gag, is the girl shown only from behind?
Re: Avatar: The Seven Havens, Season 1 Episode 4
The group scene in episode 8 and 9 was wasted potential (way little focus on the captured Benders at the end of episode 8, and when they DO show them their hands are in front and legs and free... ugh), but this series is really going all-in with the DiD.

I like Zi a lot, I hope we "Zi" more of her in these last four episodes :p It'd be fun for her to end up in the core group of heroes once everything settles down and all the various factions stop hating each other. Also I like her voice actress, she was Mulan's daughter in the Descendants series and Skye's sister in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I don't understand why there has to be hate towards GiD or why people are expecting DiD treatments from mainstream TV series. If you're going to watch or play something expecting bondage, you're going to be disappointed. This is why we have Didnapper and its sequel (plus anything from DID Games), the various snoop stories (plus and DiD story on DA), and Semi-Auto Semla.didlove wrote: October 21st, 2026, 6:16 amI hear you, and yet I still doubt it. Do not mistake what I about this say as an attack on GID or you.Inigo wrote: October 20th, 2026, 3:47 pmThis is not entirely directed at you but more about this sentiment in general. Honestly in other sources I’ve seen this said a lot less gracefullydidlove wrote: October 19th, 2026, 1:10 pm Fingers crossed, but this franchise is not really tilted towards DID sadly. Definitely someone like GID in the production. Happens so many times.
I kinda wonder if the DID community kinda maybe has a percecution complex regarding their junior counterpart or in general
Because I can’t help but notice the first reaction to a full treatment DID scene very early on is pessimism and distrust, even hints of jealousy.
Not the most graceful reaction but if the sentiment is warranted like with Naruto then fair enough. But Avatar isn’t really such a case. Katara got captured and restrained plenty of times and Sokka only ties with her because they often get captured in pairs. And while in Korra the boring twins get gagged more Korra herself gets captured and restrained plenty of times.
Personally I would doubt there is a GID advocate on the staff because in that case they’d have jumped on a chance to give Jae the full treatment.
In Korra itself, there are more gagged guys, guards included, than in the whole franchise. And yes, I can hope to see more DID in Avatar than GID. I don't think it's a bad thing, just like you want to see Jae get full treatment. I respect that, and I will be happy for you if he did.
However, GID is not my thing, and I can show disappointment when a show I like doesn't provide, Avater or any other. I mean, come on, man, the loudmouth Korra got captured a few times and none of those times she was gagged. Who are they foolingBelieve it or not, a simple handgag is good enough for me. Regardless, this statement stays true depending on what you believe a good DID or GID is. My personal preference for DID is a tie up and gagged and there is not much of it in Avatar. But I will still be happy for anyone who loves GID if the show delivers more good moments like in korra.
And yes, I feel the DiD vs. GiD debate has been a problem in the bondage for years or even decades. I just don't get why people on this forum insist that only women are allowed to be tied up. I can understand not tying up a strong male unless the plot has him lose or get captured, but what about other males like my character, Ryan White?
As for the DiD treatments, I would wonder if they're limiting them due to modern views on women or the "damsel in distress" trope. I can understand views on women are different than they were 2+ decades ago. I believe there may be an exception for the heroine or supporting female if the plot does require her to be captured or has her lose like in Didnapper 2 and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power which I can't show examples for spoiler reasons.
