I think it’s safe to say that Amelie and her friends have been “secured” after their little jailbreak.
It’s the reason why the whole city is on lockdown, too…and why Megan’s business is suffering.
Francois is probably hunkered down in that bar, too…Megan probably doesn’t like it; but Francois can implicate Amelie if they turn him in, so they’re stuck with him.
I’m with LivingWish here. It’s likely that Amelie and Company have been severely grounded after what happened. The unexpected consequences are now the city’s locked down and Megan’s bar is suffering because of it. I also agree that Francois is also in hiding somewhere. Possibly in her bar because if he implicates Amelie and her friends,they’ll be in BIG trouble with the police,not to mention a lot of other less savory types as well.
Ah, ok, that explains a lot. So there was a relatively big time-skip between the end of the last chapter and the beginning of this one. Amelie and her friends have already arrived in Beistad, Megan and Kenzi saved them and it was there where the latter one catched her cold. I’m curious to see how the three troublemakers and Frankie were punished after this. Probably with a lot of rope and/or tape like at the ending of the interlude. ^^
But I must say, Megan looks a lot different here than on most other pages. Especially in the bottom panels. I wouldn’t have recognized her if I didn’t know that it was her.
