Not sure how many Star Wars or Tolkien fans are out and about, but the Library of Congress finally went "Yeah, it's time to preserve Return of The Jedi and Fellowship of The Rings". I guess a lot of them noticed Shrek got in last year and asked "how the fuck did our stuff not get in!" I kid, I kid. The full list is below, A Nightmare on Elm Street also made it as the oddball selection. Lots of racially charged films got in this year.
