Found this on Deviantart, have no idea what the comic is but a female racecar driver gets kidnapped and Mickey and Goofy find the girl bound and gagged along with a parrot. credit for the scan goes to https://www.deviantart.com/barricade379 and hope someone can figure out the source.

Why is it that the UK's get all the good Disney comic damsels? I'm sorry but it feels like us Americans are getting screwed on these great Disney comic damsels find's. All we get over here are Disney Comic dudes in distress. We rarely get any Disney comic damsels in our countries all the damsels are left in the UK.

It could be because American comics are dominated by superheroes (either straight up, or satires of them, or deconstructions of them) that other genres such as Disney comics don't flourish as well. Europe isn't as high on superheroes as America is -- even 2000 A.D. is a sci fi anthology mostly and even that is best known for Judge Dredd, which is not a superhero comic -- which means there are more niches to fill. There is a place for Disney comics and more content means more opportunity for varying qualities...and damsels. ;)
