Shin Sakura Wars

I don't know if anyone here has played the Shin Sakura Wars for PS4 (really good game, btw), but there is a CID moment in the game. Forgot what chapter its in, but the main hero Kamiyama and ninja Azami are arrested by a bunch of assholes. They are seen with with their arms behind their back a few scenes later trying to escape a car. No binds (probably didn't want to render restraints), but the implication is there. I know there is an animated series for Shin Sakura Wars, but I haven't watched it so I'm not sure if the same scene is in the show. Also for people into masks, two characters are seen later in the game wearing masks that cover the lower half of their faces. A bit of a spoiler so I'll leave well enough alone.

Never looked into this series growing up. I don't think the anime had any tie ups since I have never seen anything shared for it over the years. However I do know one of the OVAs "Le Nouveau Paris" has a scene with two of the maids strapped to chairs by some bad guys and they're being tormented using electric shocks and a roulette table.
