Episode 51
6:19, there's another DID, but no gag. The brown long haired loli gets pole tied along with her father. Both are kidnapped off screen.
There's also a chubby pink haired woman who is Guogua's aunt in Episode 17 that gets kidnapped, chair tied and tape gagged and I believe rescued in 19.

Updated the screenshots by removing images that had time stamps that were showing, because of the mouse cursor on the duration bar. I apologize for not seeing that earlier for those who would have found that annoying. I've also added some screenshots and rearranged some of them so they are in chronological order.

Aw man. Freakin tease with the net only to "fade to black", I hate that.

Not sure what you exactly mean by that. If the screenshots are spoilers then watch the episodes and don't look at them. I would hide them if that was an option, but it is not.Spydarefox wrote: October 8th, 2019, 2:46 am Aw man. Freakin tease with the net only to "fade to black", I hate that.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean to confuse. I like the screenshots, I don't consider them "spoilers" at all. What I meant was I don't like it when the show "goes to commercial, or fades to black" right when the characters are getting caught/captured. You see, I like to see the scene where the person gets caught. Either by a trap, grabbed, or in that episodes case, netted.
The initial capture is usually a good source for some "struggling", which is my favorite parts.

Re: Great China Treasure Hunt Episode 7-10
It's all cool. Thanks for elaborating. Yeah, I get you now. I ran into two anime where the damsels were kidnapped off screen and I hate that as much as it fades to black when they are captured. I know we didn't get to see the scene of her riding in the car with the bad guys to his ship, but they did provide with plenty of scenes to satisfy us and this anime is only around ten minutes in length per episode so it's hard to include every thing when you have such limited duration. The green haired girl gets taken hostage and her capture was all off screen which is a bit annoying. Seeing as the scene with the main girl was probably one of the best I've seen from Chinese anime I can look passed those certain parts. I personally think is one of the best anime that has come out of China even though it isn't the initial twenty minute segment. I'm right now going back and watching the anime, because I like it so much.Spydarefox wrote: October 8th, 2019, 4:14 am Oh sorry, I didn't mean to confuse. The damsel is super cute and we got to see plenty of other things so it doesn't bother me as much. It's not often you get full treatment scenes in traditional art style from China. On screen gaggings are a rarity too. There's too much content to let that one thing spoil every thing.
Besides, you get plenty of struggling when he grabs her she puts up quite a struggle as she is in the process of being kidnapped right in front of the main character's eyes.

The anime follows the comic. The scene in the anime is way better than the one in the comic. Seems that there are twenty-five comics and the first comic goes all the way up to part of Episode 10. Likely there will be a second season of this.

I would have preferred the animated version if it didn't look so artificial (the whole "Flash" animation thing).

Can you understand any thing that is being said in the anime? I would need English subtitles. I'm just curious. I did find out the purple haired loli girl's name. It's Guogua.Daikinbakuju wrote: October 9th, 2019, 12:44 am I would have preferred the animated version if it didn't look so artificial (the whole "Flash" animation thing).

I just don't like this "new age" of animations where people just stretch and distort some static images.
It's only Japanese animation or shows like Young Justice that still animates the characters.

Been noticing that with a lot of the Chinese anime aside from the 3D ones. The only non-ones I've seen are like Balala Faeries.Daikinbakuju wrote: October 9th, 2019, 2:25 amI don't understand anything in the show.Nephenthal wrote: October 9th, 2019, 12:58 am Can you understand any thing that is being said in the anime?
