This game is a sequel to a spinoff game from the Yakuza series that never saw a western release. Late into the game, the main characters older sister is kidnapped and is held hostage or for ransom and one of the friends of the main character has to go rescue her. On a related note both this and the first game got a live action drama series to accompany it but they differ from the game a fair bit. In the first series the main characters sister is killed off and one of the lead females get kidnapped and had a very short scene of her bound and gagged but that never happened in the first game. I don't know if the second series had anyone kidnapped since the sister got killed off and I can't find it online.
