Bound and Gagged People in Children's Books

I have been wondering that we never talked about DiD and CiD in children's books, and I don't mean just Wendy from Peter Pan. I remember I saw a farmer couple get the treatment in an episode of a kid show called "The Little Red Door", and I was wondering if anyone found this in any of those types of books?
