These images look characteristic of videos and screencaps from an outfit called "Kisekae." I looked through a heap of image folders looking for confirmation but came up empty. Similarly I couldn't find any notes about a relevant URL. I have a vague feeling that these date back to the early days of the Word Wide Web, so I hope I'm giving you enough info to track this down.
