The scariest thing is that it gives corporations the right to sue countries. Not in legitimate courts either but closed off, secret committees. That's incredible creepy. We are outsourcing our state of law to entities who have no other goal then to make money.

I've heard people dismiss this on the basis that very few people know about it and it probably doesn't affect them and it's just "lol silly Americans" shooting themselves again, when this is pretty much going to be SOPA/PIPA back from the grave yet again except with even more teeth, and nobody had any problem protesting that. Copyright hell to the extent that countless communities that ever share copyrighted material could be affected by it, including our own DID communities.
