The teaser for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the second installment in the DC Cinematic Universe and follow-up to Man of Steel has been released online prematurely due to it getting leaked.

So they're basically using The Dark Knight Returns #3 as the basic plot.

It can work, as long as there are some ideas in the script and it's not just a two hour FX fight scene.

They are using elements of the DKR for Batman, and it will inform the fight, but the plot involves Luthor (you can hear him amidst the voice overs), Wonder Woman, probably Doomsday and is meant to be a set up for Justice League, so it won't be adapting the DKR literally. Looks fantasic so far!

If they have a reverse look at this from Superman's point of view I'll be happier. Make second POV trailer where Superman is considering the fact that Batman is a dangerous vigilante and a psychopath. Then I'll give a warmer reception... for right now, fuck this Bat-dick-suck-fest...

I don't see how this is from Bruce's poiunt of view...the plot is going to be about how the world is divided about Superman at this point, and Luthor is engendering an anti-Superman backlash. How Batman gets involved we don't know yet, but the first half is howing the world's reaction, not Bruce's.

I don't see how this is from Bruce's poiunt of view

He's the only one of the two that has any lines and he is the only character that is directly addressed in the whole trailer. The people at the beginning are clearly reflective of the reasons he is taking on Supes. Superman could just be an event or an object in this trailer and it would make no difference... Batman is awesome. I love Batman. But when he's made awesome at the expense of another character it sucks.
