Someone once said an issue of the Electric Company Magazine had a short Spidey story where a cute female scientist ends up knocked out and then bound and gagged. I've been trying to find it forever.

I think you're talking about the Spidey Super Stories series. There's a youtuber that's uploaded a lot of them. I haven't gone over that many but maybe you'll find it here.
