Christopher Walken will become "the first tap-dancing Captain Hook" when NBC rolls out a live presentation of the musical "Peter Pan" in December.
NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said Sunday that Walken has been signed as the first major cast member for the production, which will air Dec. 4.
The other characters will be announced soon, he said.
