Time to bust that red handbag out of the closet and tape an antenna onto your head. Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po, who collectively make up The Teletubbies, are returning to television.
The BBC is reviving Teletubbies, the colorful and somewhat psychedelic children's television series aimed at pre-schoolers, BBC.com reports. Teletubbies originally ran for 365 episodes from 1997 to 2001 in the United Kingdom and became an international phenomenon not just with kids, but with adults who found themselves in an elevated state of mind and needed to be entertained with bright lights and baby babble.
