SyFy going back to basics..?

First the guy that tried to bring live-action to Cartoon Network leaves, now this:

Hopefully, this will start a new trend for the better..

Thoughts..?

I like how the article says Sci-Fi (I forgot; they're SyFy now aren't they? >_<) is searching for their own "Walking Dead" or "Game of Thrones". They had a show like that; it was called "Battlestar Galactica". xD

It would be nice to see them create something of comparable value though; I gave up on cable television a couple years ago and haven't missed it since. One can only handle so much reality television, and in SyFy's particular case horrible d-movie plot movies quickly lose their ironic charm when showcased so often.

Start airing classic Godzilla flicks again and sold. Bring a new season of Destination Truth and sold. Get us a Saturday morning Scifi toon lineup and you will have my attention. (Think good ol and some newer, steal Symbionic Titan and Megas and get new eps for both)

That'd be cool if they brought back some sort of cartoon or anime block (like Ani-Monday!) and Godzilla movies would be pretty cool too. My dream show for them to revitalize would be Firefly; but given how the movie kind of "ended" the plotline of the show there's a very low chance of it happening. A Megas XLR resurgence would be incredible too; unfortunate that we should have 3 or 4 Ben 10 iterations yet only one for XLR. Though maybe it being left alone is a good thing; sometimes a show being left "alive" for so long can make it "bad" too. (looking at you "Family Guy" xD)
