At first I thought this was just a rumor since it was posted on shitty rumor sites, but since Dread Central of all places picked it up, it seems to be real after all. This will include some pro-environment monster to help fight Hedorah since I guess Godzilla does not have assistance from those giant electrode walls this time around.

Actually the '98 Godzilla was produced by TriStar and Centropolis. The new one coming in 2014 is a Legendary/WB production.

The new one from vids and screens looks to take Gino/Zilla and kill that tuna breath for a classic look. Whole new story and look.
