Cartoon remakes we could only wish for
Hey guys.
Now we all seen likes tons of remake cartoons; you know they use the same cartoon characters or comic book characters but with different titles and different storylines. Like there about a ton of different Batman cartoons, and they remade the Looney Tunes into more of a sitcom series, a few remakes of Scooby Doo, and of course recently a remake of Mickey Mouse cartoons.
As for me here are some shows that I hope will get a remake soon.
Swat Kats: Kind of sucks that they only did two seasons leaving out the story in the middle of the seasons.
Goof Troop: Who would not love to see the newer version of Peg Pete; maybe we can find out if she really did divorced Pete from the series.
Tiny Toons: If they gave the Looney Tune gang a sitcom series why not their younger counterparts? Maybe give them a kind of a high-school life style.
Dexter's Lab: See what new inventions everyone's favorite inventor will come up with, and what new ways Dee-Dee will destroy them.
Danny Phantom: If they could keep doing like a ton of Fairly Oddparents surely they could do more Danny Phantom.
Well those are my wish list so far. How about you guys any cartoon remakes you would like to see?

I would like to see a She-Ra reboot, but set outside the He-Man universe.

Kinda what Despera is. Shadow Weaver really did a mind fudge on her.
Continue Kim Possible into College years. I know of a fan made with the actual crew behind the show getting done.
Spider-man could use a good one. Maybe star Miles this time. Sucks the Ultime universe is getting eaten by Galactus.
A new ghostbusters based like the new book.
Megas XLR, more Kiva is always nice. Also maybe this time destroys the shore house each ep.

Those are some cool ideas Sailornapper.

Totally agree with Swat Katz and She-Ra. I've longed to see them redone for a new generation. She-Ra might not be very far-fetched though. It was tremendously popular. Swat Katz on the other hand will likely never see the light of day again. A sad thing as a sequel series would be amazing. Not just a remake but one that takes place slightly after the original series. Callie could be Mayor and Felina the Commander of the Enforcers after her Uncle's retirement. Would love to see that. And MORE TURMOIL!
An obscure one I'd love to see remade is Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light. Vastly under-rated series from the nostalgic internets.

Captain Planet. Bring back the original voice actors but don't make it so damn Narmy. Introduce two sides to the show's politics and have villains on both sides as well (the hardcore polluting villains can stay but bring in some eco-terrorists as well) and show the real threats posed to the planet while emphasizing that there isn't a simple solution.
Also, I want to see W.I.T.C.H. get a third season.

Megas XLR is a good one that I'd love to see come back. Another one from my childhood is Pirates of Dark Water. Man....THAT was ahead of it's time. I think it managed to get 2 seasons...or at least one and a half. I think it was cut off in mid-second season, like SWAT Kats....which also needs a reboot, but probably won't see the light of day again, as was earlier suggested.
Danny Phantom; sure I would be in favor for some more episodes of Danny Phantom. It was another one of those shows that was good and had lots of potential, but I don't think it was "popular enough" for it to be kept around, which is sad.

My cartoon remake list is
He-man and the masters of the universe but that's been done back in 2002, Voltron but that was done back in 2011, Thundercats but that was done back in 2010 but it didn't stick the original but it had a good story line, C.O.P.S. ( Central Organization Police Specialist) and Captain Planet cause I had a crush on linka and loved the way her socks were in the series .

Another series I just thought of is Samurai Jack I mean come on they left before we could see if Jack can finally defeat Aku.

Captain N The Game Master?
Re: Cartoon remakes we could only wish for
Personally I'm against most remakes. Even if they were remade, chances are that they wouldn't have the glory or the same good feel and such as their originals that made the fans fall in love with them in the first place.
That aside, I wouldn't mind a Captain Planet remake, but only if it's handled well. If you're going to do a remake, you've got to do it right.

Hey, who DIDN'T have a crush on Lynka (yeah, I know: the ones who had a crush on Gi).DiD Rulez wrote: cause I had a crush on linka and loved the way her socks were in the series .
Being the old fart I am, I would love to see a remake of either Space Ghost or Underdog with current CGI tech and writing aimed at someone older than six. Kim Possible: The College Years gets my vote, too, as would a new series of Darkwing Duck cartoons, Inspector Gadget (IF they stick to the formula established in season one) and SWAT Kats with Callie Briggs now Mayor and Felina Feral Police Chief.
Catwoman: Think you can handle me?
Batman: I've got handcuffs.
Catwoman: Ooh.

Darkwing Duck was fun and think had a newer comic at one time right?
Other series ideas:
Centurians
BlackStar (blame watching this when found a tape and the music stuck in my head a week)
Ghostbusters (the ape one)
A He-man.series loosely based on the new toy storyline. (If don't mind Teelas larents both dying. Clamp Champ kills Duncan in battle when coulda restrained him and venom killed Sorceress)
Any Hanna Barbara heroes of old. Unless they got tarnished via Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law
Thats about it again oh wait COPS anyone?

It did, from KaBoom, and that comic was FANTASTIC. Recommended for anyone who might want to pick up the trade paperbacks.
