Forget it, I'm not calling it by whatever title they're using to shoehorn into Pxar's Cars franchise. And it's usually not a good sign when they announce a sequel before the first film is out...
Friday's D23 Expo was dedicated to Disney's three animated divisions: Pixar, Disney Animation Studios, and Disneytoon Studios. Disney's animation boss John Lasseter hosted the ceremonies, which saw footage screened, cast and crew appear, and announcements made for the Mouse House's upcoming toon efforts.
Even though Cars-Shoehorn Film only hits theaters today, Lasseter touted the sequel Cars-Shoehorn film: Fire & Rescue to the assembled--

I'm starting to believe John Lasseter's lost it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was his idea for this farce to be theatrical. DisneyToon is breed to be DTV only; the studio has shown no pedigree worth a damn to become theatrical.

So hopefully we'll see Trains as their next series so we can have Trains, Planes and Automobiles
