"Tomorrow People" was a Brtitish-produced series in the 1970s that came out in the wake of "Doctor Who".
It ran on Nickelodeon as one of the network's initial offerings & they briefly (as in three seasons) revived it with a new cast in the mid-1990s.

Okay - I was a huge fan of the original series, which for the time (1973) was unique. I kinda liked the Nicklodeon remake, but this one - they got the base right, but it smacks too much of Alphas for me. We'll see if it turns up on Syfy in the UK, and take it from there.
It's the quiet, unobvious ones that you have to watch.
