NEW CARTOON SERIES: Star Wars Rebels: Fall 2014

Production has begun on Star Wars Rebels, an exciting, all-new animated television series based on one of the greatest entertainment franchises of all time. Scheduled to premiere in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel, it will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels around the world.

wait a fugging minute.... greg weisman. the man who not only worked on spectacular spiderman and young justice, but one of my all time favorite series, Gargoyles?!!
the future, less clouded, it becomes.

actaully i do really like this idea. the birth of the rebellion, what remains of the jedi fighting agaisnt the empire for twenty years, in secret. darth mother fucking vader! and the empire trying to consolidate its power and control, yet facing interference and rebellion. dear god this has a lot of potential. hell this even hold some relation to the clone wars tv series. they very well could use this as a way to show the future and fates of several character whose fate is ambiguous.......
it better have two things at least. Darth Vader vs Darth Maul, and Barris Offee having escaped execution and working as a dark jedi agaisnt the empire.

Maybe next time I should add 'NEW CARTOON SERIES' to the title, certainly a bad day.

I predict the Weisman curse will once again rear its ugly head. Doesn't matter if it's Star Wars, it'll only last two seasons. Doesn't mean it won't be two great seasons though

Disney rule 3 seasons. Look at all the fans that fought for Kim Possible to get a 4th.

depends on what is and is not. if these creators can convince they can make disney more money by going much, much longer, we may see a lot more of it.
