X-Men #1 preview looks awesome

You know, the one with Jubilee's mysterious baby and an all-female cast (not like male characters ever matter in an Brian Wood comic). This has to be my most awaited X-Men comic since... Pixie Strikes Back and X-Women, of course.

.....wait a mo, i thought jubilee was a vampire. at least last time i checked she was some kind of mutant, vampire hybrid thingy. how could she have a baby? did she get cured, or are we looking at some kind of mutant version of Blade?

I had to do a bit of research but here's what's going on. The baby's not Jubilee's. It's an orphan she found out about, but the reason she has it is because the baby said to either bring peace or destroy the world. Also, Jubilee's been able to drive out the vampirism from herself, but still retain some of the powers that came with it such as super strength and the like.

The reason Storm has the haircut is because Wolverine did the cutting. Don't ask why he did, I don't know. As much as this series looks interesting, though, I've sworn off all Marvel titles after the character assassination they did with Peter Parker.

screw a metaphorical character assassination, look at what marvel is doing with avengers arena. that is what is known as Literal character assassination. worse is some of it is mixed with metaphorical as well. can anyone say killed off in a way that doesn't make sense?

She did it in the aftermath of her divorce, it has affected her as it should. Plus it looks cool.

And if you'd read the text in the page with the preview it says "Jubilee has come home, and she's brought with her an orphaned baby" so no, it's not her baby.
