Green Lantern Arisia - 80s comic book version

Post by lostonezero »

Loved the 80s version of Green Lantern Arisia, with her sort of punkish pixie look, so I tried to recreate that style in a sort of fake comic book panel :)

Hope you like :)

"In brightest day, in darkest night, no peril shall escape my sight. For those who worship peril's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's MMMPH!?"

Well so much for that pixies attempt at being an intergalactic detective Frankly I think pink looks good over that green outfit and yellow skin of hers (I especially like how you did Arisia's hair~ Very light and fluffy!) I'm sure Arisia is gonna have (not much) fun with Star Sapphire for as long as the villianese bothers to keep her around

You did a good job emulating that pulp comic feel. What with the the style of shading you used, the general campy dialogue, as well as the particular kind of effects and action lines you used. A weird mix of imagining it as being rubbery and bending, yet also conveying that it's glowing with limited shading. I think it turned out good overall

Always like this look. Haven't seen her in nu52 yet. Knowing how they are working this she will probably be a victim of the third armyband be ina full bodybsuit covering all her cuteness.
