Soulsearchers & company is a Peter David comic featuring some kind of paranormal detective, with a human turned into a prairie dog, an olympic athlete armed with a magic pole, a djinn, a witch, a guy with a bottomless bag, a shapeshifting gipsy and a centauress. Plus covers and early inside art by Amanda Conner.

Soulsearchers #5 : the team is confronted with fable characters and are captured by the parliament of trees.



Soulsearchers #6 : the soulsearchers sell their souls to become famous, and are turned into 1) Sin city characters, 2) "H.O.T.Blood", 3) a gun-toting cyborg, etc... in short, they become soulless 90s anti-heroes.



Soulsearchers #16 : Kelly, the witch, goes to a comic book convention and is captured by a power hungry mystic.



Soulsearchers #18 : Team is captured by evil women. No idea why.



Soulsearchers #46 : Kelly is captured. Again.



Soulsearchers #51-52 : The team is sold into slavery.

Oh wow! Thanks so much. I've been looking for this comic run for some time to check for DiD.
Also because Amanda Conner and Peter Davis are awesome.
