Rumor: Jimmy Olsen Sex Change in Man of Steel Film

Despite its upcoming June release date, little concrete information is known about Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" Superman reboot. While most of the cast and characters have presumably been announced, it's possible there's one major character shift that hasn't been officially confirmed. Digital Spy reports a listing from the "Man of Steel" IMDB page that credits actress Rebecca Buller as a character named "Jenny Olsen" -- clearly a reference to (and possibly replacement character for) Superman's pal, Jimmy Olsen, who serves as photographer for the Daily Planet.

Too many corny changes. I can deal with change to Perry but this. Ugh more reason to avoid next to the nu52ness of it.

Of course, this may be completely false and unsubstantiated.

There seems to be a distinct lack of credible and/or concrete evidence to show "Jenny Olsen" will be the new "Jimmy Olsen".

As the article says, take this with a grain of salt.
