Honestly? I actually think this could be kinda cool. It depends on how they do it. Didn't they resurrect Darth Maul even though he was sliced in half?

Looks to be unfounded. :O Either that or they moved the article.

actually they had it he never died. his sheer hatred for the jedi kept him alive. this has been shown to actually be possible for the force sensitive, especially dark side users. fueled by hate, they somehow stay alive.
i love that scene when they showed him alive. the insnaity that took him. not to mention his spider body was oobviously constructed from the force, and moved by it, twisting metal and moving it as well. the fact it was eight legs could be someone of a symbolic thing too, showing insane desire to have them back and trying to compensate for the loss.

the dark side is often said to be the corruption of the universe, as the light is the balance. through the dark side, as sideous himself said, it can lead to many abiltiies considered to be unnatural.

This actually reminds me of Maw, one of the seven Dark Jedi leaded by Jerec in Jedi Knight videogame. Although he was sliced in two by Master Qu-Rahn at the opening sequence, his pure hatress mixed with the power of the Dark Side allowed him to survive and also gain levitation motion. He didn't need to worry about walk anymore, he just floated around (and became quite a pain in the ass to defeat as he also threw stuff to you :P).

Personally, I've seen worse things in the prequel movies, I don't really feel that scared for this news. As long as Lucas is out of the director chair, of course XD.

As much as Vader is one of THE all time villains I would highly prefer a new sith simply for designs sake, the comics, video games and a lot of other expanded universe stuff has a great deal of good characters they can draw from/use/be inspired.

Still wanting to see Kyle Katarn though, Mara Jade and Dash Rendar too.

Agree though didn't Dash show up in Shadows of the Empire based between Empire and Jedi. Always thought he died. Still agree so much history made in the comics and other extended universe stuff that should have potential. Heck Dark Empire comes to mind to me for a good film.
