Looks like they did a nice job translating some of the anime stuff to live-action. And there also looks to be a handgag scene for the female lead near the end of the trailer!

Aaaah~, it opens a mere ten days after I leave Japan! Looks entertaining. Definitely gonna be very hammy. If it's going to span several story arcs, it had better have a coherent narrative. I know what I would do, but I'll wait and see what they did.

Looks like there will be a bound and gagged scene for Megumi in the film! I don't think she ever got one in the original anime.

Your memory is correct disguiseartist1. Megumi did not get a scene in the manga or anime, but in the manga got hand-gagged a few times.

Megumi is the one with the gag around her neck in the trailer. Kaoru was the one who got a few handgag scenes in the manga and anime. It looks like Kaoru's kidnapping actually is a plot point in the film so maybe it's one of those deals where she gets nabbed and the kidnapper leaves Megumi tied up for the heroes to find so she can tell them about the ransom.
