Not angry, upset, sad, annoyed, or anything; definitely not surprised. I'm impressed if anything. Trump lost 4 million votes but 16 million of Biden's votes did not return for Kamala. In fact Republicans saw their biggest nationwide victory since 1984, he will likely have a bigger margin of victory than Bush did over Kerry. Democrats should have delivered stuff they promised the past 30 years. I've been checked out for the last year. Reading Reddit doom posts is funny even though I voted for Harris.
You gotta hand it to Americans. Twice they were offered the easiest question of all time and twice they failed when answering it.
Not that I'm overly qualified to comment. We got our loony blonde demagogue too. The difference is that when he won he was forced to set up a whole fake persona pretending he was more moderate then he really was. Trump however was allowed to get away with running as a completely loony extremist.

Maybe we'll finally start getting some decent DiD scenes out of the U.S. now.
What is the correlation between a Trump presidency and good DiD scenes exactly?
Its the idea that wOkE is to blame for the lack of DID and that a Trump presidency means a rejection of woke. Both of which I consider a little bit silly to say the least.

Supremacist shit
It doesn't seem to me that in the 2016/20 period there was this great turnaround, but for certain imbeciles everything is good to glorify neo-Nazis...
After a great deal of deliberation I decided to post some comments concerning the recent election. Let's start with the main point: the Biden-Harris administration was the worst presidency in my lifetime. That's not hyperbole: when I was born, Truman was president. Thus I've experienced quite a number of presidencies to compare and contrast. On an absolute scale the Buchanan administration may have been the worst, but in my own lifetime Biden-Harris is even worse than the presidency of the hapless Jimmy Carter.
On what grounds do I make that judgment? I have plenty of issues to choose from, whether the 20% jump in the cost of living, or the crime surge, or the millions of illegal immigrants overburdening American social services. But the issue that pissed me off the most was a foreign policy: appeasement of Iran. In just a few short years that has turned the Middle East into a horrifying mess, with death and suffering on a massive scale for Israelis and Palestinians alike.
Let's look at an example of this policy. Early in 2024 Iran was threatening to directly attack Israel for the very first time. A TV reporter asked Biden about this, and apparently he thought he was being clever with a one-word answer: "Don't." The ayatollahs must have found that amusing because they went ahead and attacked anyway. (This was the spring missile attack, not the more recent missile attack.) So how did the administration "punish" Iran? By releasing $10 billion dollars in frozen assets! Oh, that was purely for humanitarian purposes. Quite apart from skepticism that such a requirement could be enforced, it seems nobody in the White House could figure out that to Iran a bonus of $10B in humanitarian aid meant $10B could be redirected to its terrorist proxies. And the results are evident.
Thus the incumbents had to go, and it didn't matter to me if the opposing ticket was headed by Trump, or Haley, or DeSantis, or Herb the Angry Dwarf. Now I can only hope that the Secret Service is competent enough to keep the president-elect safe from the Iranian hit squads reportedly in this county.

I'm not going to discuss on your opinions about the election because I'm too tired to do so right now but... holy moly, if you're not trolling you might be the oldest one around here.
Also, I think you mixed up "Bush" with "Buchanan".
I think the economy argument is unwise but mostly understandable. As a foreigner one can point out that the economic damage is to post covid shocks to the system and a world wide phenomenon, and that by all accounts the US has a far more solid grip on inflation then most countries. But aside from the cliche that Americans don't know or care to know about anything beyond their borders the argument also just doesn't matter. The average voter doesn't care why things happen or how they compare. Knowing such things doesn't make the increased prices sting any less. I can understand such context not at all mattering to voters no matter where they're from.
The foreign policy I do have stronger views on. Primarily because the Trump foreign policy ideal was essentially just betraying us and striving to surrender us to the Kremlin. Under Biden that not only stopped but a more or less united front against Russia formed, and NATO got expanded with countries previously thought unthinkable. That's a pretty damned sign of success. The Israel policy of the Biden government was essentially garbage, but given its my own future on the line I do put vastly more focus on the former as opposed to the later.

Probably not since Buchanan blundered the US into an extremely bloody civil war. That's about as bad as it gets.
