I have only seen the first two episodes of Bruce Timm's beautiful new series, and in the second episode there is already a full treatment!
Actress Yvonne Frances (Lacey Chabert) is kidnapped, we see her after five minutes chained to a bed, soon after there is a movie sequence where she is tied to a table with a blade swirling above her "The Pit And The Pendulum" style.
In the Finale Detective Montoya (Michelle Bonilla) is captured by Clayface, she is tied up in a chair and the villain slides a fake wall where we see Yvonne, bound as in the movie sequence but this time she is gagged with a white cleave.
Yvonne manages to remove the gag and insults Clayface, who activates the pendulum with the razor blade.
Batman frees Montoya with the batarang, the detective unties Yvonne as the hero and villain fight.
