Max & Cati

Post by uhu »

Max & Cati started as a long complete story published in 1986, in the Tintin magazine (journal de Tintin), it tells the story of two kids using a special TV allowing to travel into parallel worlds. The characters proved popular enough to last 4 long years, but only as short stories. Three treatments happened

1) Cati lands in a world where there are multiple cults, and those people believe the TV is a god. She is to be tortured for doubting this

2)Cati and her dad accidently activate the TV and land in a parallel world with now water, they are to be sacrified to the tree god so that their body parts makes it alive again

3)Burglars take the family hostage, max & cati try to escape through the TV, and they manage to get one gangster on their side, offering to bring him back if he frees them.

It's a real pleasure to take time and scan old magazines for rare scenes never published on paperback form, thank you for you warm and encouraging words. :P
