TMNT VS. STREET FIGHTER #3 cover and DID/CID interior scene!

I wasn't sure to put this under Scans or Alerts, but since there is actually cover art to display, I figured it goes into scans. IDW has teamed up with Capcom to do a 5 issue mini series in which the Ninja Turtles and Street Fighters meet, fight, and team up. The solicitations for the third issue, which ships the first week in August, states that both Chun-Li and Raphael get captured by Shadaloo.

The main cover shows both strapped to hospital beds and stood up. It is a CID, but fans wanting a mainstream Chun-Li DID scene can easily crop him out with Microsoft Paint.

It's not a guarantee that the interior pages will have any DID/CID; comic books have been doing "bondage fake-out covers" since the genre began in the 1930s. Even in modern day with comics being more "liberated," bondage scenes that happen on the cover to entice people but not in the interior are still common. That said, solicits for issues 3 suggest that Chun-Li does get captured, and the solicit for issue 4 suggests the scene continues. At the very least, we got a nice Chun-Li in bondage on the main cover. I like how her legs look powerful, and she's defiantly struggling.

Only issue 1 has been released. The third issue ships in August. I just saw that cover and the solicitation for the issue and had to share.

The actual issue came out and I wanted to add links to the scenes. It is a CID between Chun-Li and Raphael, but Raph can be easily cropped from most panels for those who want to. In the actual comic they're cuffed with hands in front with hi-tech cuffs that cover their entire hands. In issue #2, Chun-Li was zapped unconscious, for those into that.

Chun-Li is shown captive in a tube on the cover for TMNT VS. STREET FIGHTER #4, but it could just be a tease since she appears to escape here. But who knows, she could be recaptured.

Honestly, I thought the cover was better than the interior scene, but it is still a mainstream U.S. scene with Chun-Li. And her recuffing panel was amusing.
