The most recent issue revolves around a former criminal mayor gaining support for re-election. Barbara goes undercover as a volunteer and finds that his secret involves working with the Mad Hatter, right before she's knocked unconscious and the issue ends.

With Jervis involved we can probably expect some mind control/hypnosis for Babs in the next issue, but we might get lucky and get some extra treatment for her too.

Because Paul Dini didn't create the Batman version of her until his run on Detective Comics in 2008, almost a decade after "Batman: The New Gotham Adventures" was canceled.
