Treasure hunting

Post by Kahyeet »

And as promised, this is probably my last post on my Gempak starz comic and I’ve saved the best for last. This series follows at first a smart boy named Pang-Yi, a really smart kid who knows a lot about different countries history and culture, and his uncle and later on Do To-Ri, a kid who has a really high IQ and they end up as friends and rivals, as they travel around the world, visiting a different country in each book to well, treasure hunt. And of course, the series has quite a few villains who are not afraid to use underhanded tactics to steal the treasure, including kidnapping

Treasure hunting in India
This one is prob the most disappointing one because there is actually a pretty good tape gag scene in The book but Guess what, its a gif scene and wow they had a traps even in this book as one of the guys is just a full trap which I prob would have falled for if they didn’t revealed it but it did have a small scene of the villain getting tied up

Treasure hunting in Turkey
Pang-Yi’s uncle also has a female assistant, Eun -Ju Who surprisingly is infatuated with both of the series’s main antagonists and gets tied up in this book by one of them.

Treasure hunting in Egypt
Thsi was the book where Pang-Yi and To-Ru meet and it has a scene of the entire group except for To-Ri little sister, Re-Mi, getting tied up including Eun-Ju

Treasure hunting in Canada
Along the way in the series, To-Ri picks up a rich girl who is in love with him but it’s a one sided love. She gets betrayed and kidnapped with one of the antagonists in this book and later on she is tied up in blankets.

Treasure hunting in Spain
This is a little disappointing as the damsel does not really get a close up panel when she’s gagged and she is pretty cute as well.

Treasure hunting in Japan
This was prob the most disappointing scene in the series as the damsel, who is an actaul geisha, is only tape gag for one panel and she is the cutest damsel of the entire series in my opinion and I really wished she was gagged later on as well, but our heroes also had to tie up and gag her bodyguard when she learnt her mistress was kidnapped so that was pretty funny.

Treasure hunting in Cuba
This is one of the best scenes in the series probably, for how long it is and the damsel is pretty cute too. There’s also a blind fold scene later on of the same damsel but she’s not gagged then.

Now last but not least, probably my favourite Scene in the series

And that’s what I’ve found from my collection. I’m now trying to get Treaure Hunt go in France and Treasure hunting in China but I might not be getting those in a while and I’m not even sure if there is any scene in those books, but I will be sure to share them here if they do. Also this book had quite a few GIF scenes so if y’all want me post it I could.

Unfortunately no. I searched through with multiple language and could not find a website that had these books. And the only way to get them is to buy them online as I’m pretty sure all the bookstores here have stopped selling this series because it is quite old and even buying it online is hard since many websites just do not have the English version of these books. They mainly only sell then in Chinese and Korean.

Couldn't you scan them and make them into a torrent or Archive.org?

I finally got Treasure hunting in France and China and while China didn’t have any scenes, France did have a tape gag scene of eun-Joo and the professor

Ah I see. Could you still do a quick pic of it just so it's here?
