In one episode, the gang are briefly restrained with metal tendrils. Since most of the group are women, there you go. I forget which episode, I think either episode 4 or 5. It is blink-and-miss, lasts a few seconds.

I checked episode 6 and 10 and didn't find any of those scenes.
