From the same continuity as Mirrorman comes this. Wow did the third arc went for a full horror vibe. Anyway, the monster of this episode, named Gold Dragon, uses a bunch of chains to strangle people. A lot of tie ups here, but Setsuko is the only female this happens to. Naoki, the main hero/mecha pilot, barely manages to free her from the floating manacles while he is nearly strangled too.

The scene starts around 11:30, the actual binding occurs around 12:26. Viewers might find this disturbing and I don't blame them.

Episode 48 has some cross tying with Naoki's mom and Setsuko (and his little brother, Kazuya). Lots of creepy imagerym Naoki even gets hanged by the ankles.
