There's currently a Japanese remake of the first season of 24 airing and so far it's almost a 1 for 1 remake. Episode 4 just aired on Friday Japan time and much like the original episode 4, Japanese Jack Bauer's daughter got kidnapped and the scene will continue in episode 5, so here's hoping they follow up with the other gags of season 1 down the line. The daughter, Miyu Shido is played by Hiyori Sakurada and the wife, Rikka Shido is played by Tae Kimura.

Nice scenes here for the damsel in the thumbnail. The quick handgag of the lady cop was also cute, but a shame she met a bad end there. Still, thanks for sharing this, it was definitely a good one IMO

Japan is really into 24 X3

I remember an episode of Lucky Star where 24 was parodied out of the blue.
I was surprised that they referenced a random US TV series X3

Episode 5 just came out and since it's pretty much been exactly the same as the original '24', this will probably be it until episode 22.
