This cartoon was created after a comic serie.
After many years after the comic ended they created a new comic with a time skipp were they 2 main chackters are a couple of years older.
I manage to find all 5 of the new comics and found a treatment.
In issue 4 Elena goes missing and when they find her she is in a magical coma, continue in issue 5 were Zick goes into her dreams were he finds people sort of tied up by ropes, and after a search he finds Elena with her hands and feet straped to a bulls eye board.
