¿DID SCENE CRISIS?

I do not want to create controversy, but I would like to ask you if perhaps you feel that we are in a time where the number of DID scenes in anime and perhaps cartoons has decreased considerably, I think that compared to previous years it has decreased a lot, I do not say that they no longer have but they are less regular and of lower quality this obviously does not apply in manga that I think there are more DID scenes than ever

I have my doubts example when we could have a great adaptation of the season 5 of food wars with Erina tied up ... well they don´t adapted in the same way we only get a bad look of her tied up in her imagination vs the manga version where she is tied almost an entire chapter , well the pandemic is a contributing only to the factor of delivering anime episodes .

The number of scenes have been decreasing even compared to 2 years ago. The last extended scene I have seen is from Babylon and that was last year.

Like half of the anime that usually airs got pushed back from last season and this one because of Covid. Pretty big factor in the amount of anime in general. Putting that aside, it's honestly just a coincidence. Not everything is going to have a kidnapping scene that leads to DiD.(The Erina scene was pointlessly removed, though, I agree) And tbh, there's not too many alerts on this board these days since a lot of people have moved over to various discords instead. I know I generally throw screenshots of scenes I find in the Game of Gags discord just because it's quicker than doing it here and there's immediate feedback/discussion.

Like i said i think Covid is a big factor for anime getting delayed , but even with that It will not be denied that the proportion of scenes has been decreasing, not because there are no longer people watching them (in devianart there are quite a few scene collectors) but because there are no more, nobody says that we should have scenes every week but at least in each season in the spent at least there were more than 2 gag scenes and a good ropes scene

I will just say this, How many good scenes in the last 2 years (2018 onwards)?? How many memorable ones (I can think of only one (babylon Ep 7 for all the wrond reasons)?? I think we need another 2016 ( the year whenn all the seasons had a lot of good memorable scenes). But thats upto the studios not us. As for Covid, unless the anime in 2020 had scenes, covid has not impact on it. So far from the looks of it, there were no scenes.

Yes.. particularly in anime for me. For few seasons already since last year (?) I think. Really miss dedicated thread for each anime season. Hope it's not because of feminism or something in Japan :/

The last excellent scene for me was Lostorage Conflated Wixoss back then in 2018.. lol.

There are still new DID coming out.
The rate they are being produced is kinda the same, with some drought here and there.

What I am more concerned is that DID scenes from the late 80's and early 90's will run out, since that's my favorite era for DID scenes.
