I'm sorry to be that guy, but I'm gonna have to say no. Is Yugi in distress every time he becomes Yami Yugi? We have enough things that count as a form of distress already. Imagine if Chinese finger traps or garbing by the tongue count. Now if we saw a symbolic representation like the victim being bound, then I can see why that would count.
