There's a based fansubbed group called AnimeShinigami that's been doing fansubs in both English and Italian (since they're based in Italy). Last week someone on /m/ posted a topic about them releasing Jushin/Beast God Liger by Go Nagai. Just an hour ago one of the posters listed a playlist, revealing that they also completed God Mazinger in English and finished it recently! FUCKING BASED!
My mouth is smiling on its own, I never thought this would happen outside of a distant Discotek release! I mean yeah, Shin Getter Subs did the first two episodes, but they tend to use low quality sources and haven't had the best track record if what I heard about Ideon subs is right (likely just some overreactions). That doesn't matter, good quality and in English and I just watched the first episode and it's so good and I have a minor high going and veil fans you have some good material in this and I am so glad this is happening and this group stated they'll be working on Daiohja after Jushin Liger and this is becoming a run on sentence because holy shit I can't stop smiling right now!
Acrobunch is completely uncharted territory to my knowledge. I am into the last third of God Mazinger at the moment, there are quite a few GiD moments in it for those that care including episode 16 having a suspension scene.
