I feel that a DID scene is "complete" if the tied damsel actually squirms, writhe and struggle against her bindings.
Even when I draw dojinshis, I would put aside a few pages to focus on the girls wriggling about.
My favorite thing is when there's enough animation frames of a struggle scene to make a looping animated GIF.

I remember when that Karmi Big Hero 6 scene came out and I wanted to make a loop of it, but Hiro came in too quickly and got in the way

I ran into such problems too, where some frames have to be discarded.RySenkari wrote:I remember when that Karmi Big Hero 6 scene came out and I wanted to make a loop of it, but Hiro came in too quickly and got in the way
I hate struggle scenes that pans along the girl or scenes that zooms in and out.
It's harder to make loops for these.

One of the reasons I like nets/webs/bags. There is always some form of struggle when it comes to those.

struggling is the best in DID scenes i have to agree. Its less interesting id they just sit there or dont move. Seeing damsels escaping their bonds is also a favorite of mind and this includes IRL scenes too

I agree, it's no fun when they sit there like a lump.

My absolute fav is struggling while in the act of being bound, such as Fuu from episode 5 of Samurai Champloo.

I know of two struggle scenes off the top of my head from Chinese anime. One is from Fairy Book and the other is from the third season of Star Academy.Daikinbakuju wrote:I feel that a DID scene is "complete" if the tied damsel actually squirms, writhe and struggle against her bindings.
