Computer issues...again.
My computer froze up on me four times this week, and this morning I got this message:
IQRL_not_less_or_equal
which basically means something is fucking up my computer and I may need to completely reformat my OS, which means I'll be out of commission for a while as I try to reinstall everything I might need. I'm not even sure how much of the stuff I have can be replaced.
I'm starting to wonder if someone is doing this on purpose. There's just no explanation for why I have these problems each year. And I had my computer serviced last christmas...it hasn't even been five months and this happens. My computer might crash again as I type this, for all I know.

Re: BSOD
Have you tried looking up how to fix these issues without reformatting?
Does your computer allow you to do a soft-reformatting?

I wouldn't believe it either, really.
Re: BSOD
Well, it's tough since I haven't installed any new hardware since last year, aside from replacing my rear exhaust fan, so I don't know what's causing the problem. If it's not some virus that my scanners can't detect for some reason, it could be the printer I have plugged in, though I'm just grasping here really.
I'll wait and see if it happens again before I do anything drastic.

Re: BSOD
I'm no computer expert, but rarely do I ever have any issues with the computer software that I'm using. If I were you, I would try and determine to see if you could possible look into what is causing the problem and investing in a external hard-drive just in case you have do need to reformat. Normally if I have any issues, I just jump on google, put in the issue and then cross-reference each search I find to try and determine what the problem is. Of course, this takes hours, because I'm always extremely careful to make sure I don't muck anything up. Before I delete or remove anything, I always search it on google to see if it's absolutely vital to the computer and/or if it's a virus of some sort.
At worst, I do a soft reset that restores the factory settings, but keeps everything around. Although that's not always perfect, but it can help from time to time. This is of course, on an old XP.
Perhaps you should consider looking at the forums of PC Pitstop. If it is a software issue and not hardware, then they should be able to help you

Re: BSOD
Could you tell me what version of Windows you're using along with what virus scan software?

Re: BSOD
Apparently, the problem was that my video card had been corrupted, and was interfering with other OS functions that were also connected to nvidia. Luckily, I was able to get a used replacement for a good price, and everything seems okey dokey now...I've also upgraded to a 64-bit OS, so now everything looks much cleaner.
Re: BSOD
Interesting, glad you got it fixed up.
