ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66 #1

I stated this in the ALERTS section, but the issue finally popped up online. The plot is pretty much in the title; for years DC Comics has had BATMAN '66 cross over with other franchises after having an ongoing series that ran for 2-3 years. It's drawn by Dan Parent, who's been drawing for ARCHIE COMICS for over 20 years, yet has likely felt like an odd man out since the mainstream ARCHIE rebooted itself. It is, naturally, dated in 1966 so everyone is wearing old school clothes and vehicles. Poison Ivy gets the treatment pretty early on, even if it is just for one page:

Her hands are behind her, and while it's only one page, bound Ivy is in every panel on the page. And yes, the '66 universe version of Ivy speaks in a southern drawl for reasons.)

The plot involves Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, and Riddler arranging for Siren to mesmerize people in Riverdale, including Hiram Lodge. Veronica has caught on, so for all we know either she or Betty, or Batgirl, could get the treatment in future issues.

AWESOME find, Zorro! Thank you! The artwork's actually pretty darn good, really captures that fun spirit. Also, Ivy's tie-up is really well done! And it seems that Batgirl and Robin go undercover as students in issue #2 so yessss!
