Pardon the ignorance, but how fucked up can I expect this since I never read the graphic novel?

You got to read the GN to see how it got the R rating. It is one of the most darkest Batman stories ever, and it's also the origin of how Barbara becomes Oracle in the future before the New 52 messed it up. There is a reference in the 201 episode of South Park that straight from the GN in the carnival.

This is gonna be good though, Hamill who has always wanted to do this and of course Conroy (THE Batman).

More than makes up for the utter hilarity/mess of Bats V Supes.
